An industry veteran starting in 1972, Graduating Culinary Institute of America (CIA) 1977, and Florida International University (FIU) 1979. He was trained and mentored by a Master Chef, and worked throughout the country with industry greats, entrepreneurs, restaurateurs, chefs and operators. The first restaurant Michael owned in 1980 in Fort Lee NJ, “Hyde Park Restaurant” set him on a career journey around the country owning and operating world class restaurants. He believes in “a man’s reach should exceed his grasp, always working to be better than we have been!"
A young, energetic, enthusiastic restaurant guy! fire + wine was Nate's first-ever restaurant, and rising through the ranks has groomed him into a passionate leader that understands the practical ins and outs of the restaurant he manages, as well as its culture. He's dedicated to creating an experience unlike any other for every customer that comes through the door.
